It is our pleasure to introduce the exciting “Campus Connections” program organized by the American Seed Trade Association’s Future Seed Executive (FuSE) sub-committee.
This program features:
- Financial assistance to attend the ASTA 125th Annual Convention, which includes attendees from the U.S., Canada, Mexico and many other countries. The ASTA Annual Convention is one of the most important seed industry meetings in the world, as well as an enjoyable event, and this year it is being held at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from June 21-25, 2008. Please visit the meeting webpage.
This convention is the only ASTA event in which every standing committee and division conducts meetings. It will give students an excellent opportunity to meet hundreds of seed professionals from many different areas of the seed industry. The networking possibilities are endless! Students will also be able to attend the general sessions featuring outstanding speakers who will provide relevant and useful information.
- Mentorship from a seed company representative who will act as a mentor and resource during the convention.
- Invitation to social events with other Campus Connection students, FuSE members, FuSE sponsors, and other industry leaders.
- Opportunity to hear many outstanding speakers at dozens of important sessions on all aspects of the global seed business and related fields.
Financial Support: Significant financial support to attend the Convention is included for students accepted to the Campus Connections program. It includes:
- Air Fare: 100% of coach air fare is reimbursed by FuSE through company sponsorships (Up to $580.00 round-trip).
- Hotel: $800.00 total (4 nights x $200.00/night, including taxes - participants will be paired with other students in the program).
- Convention Registration: The $449 cost will be waived by the ASTA organization.
