Leave your legacy with the First the Seed Foundation

A Legacy Donation is an excellent way for individuals or companies to leave a lasting impact on the advancement of the seed industry for generations to come. We all have the opportunity to make a difference in the agricultural environment that our children and grandchildren will inherit. Legacy gifts, or planned gifts, can help you leaving a powerful legacy of education and outreach for the seed industry.
You can leave a legacy for those who follow and help protect our environment in several ways, including:

  • Making a bequest in your will for a specific sum or a portion of your estate
  • Considering a bequest of assets, for example stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or real estate
  • Naming the First the Seed Foundation as a beneficiary of your RRSP, RRIF or pension, or life insurance policy

Benefits of Contributing to the Foundation

The First the Seed Foundation has established a set of ambitious goals in our inaugural year to begin the work of our mission: to conduct education, outreach and communication on the value of crops and food produced from seed. Your contribution will create opportunities that will help build a stronger seed industry, both in the present and the future.

Any contribution given in this inaugural year (calendar year 2008) will establish its donor as a Founding Donor of the First the Seed Foundation.

The First the Seed Foundation aims to provide opportunities for donors to support its efforts at a variety of levels in order to make participation as accessible as possible to a wide variety of individuals or companies.
