Tips for International Attendees
The following steps must be taken for international registration to ASTA conferences:
- Registration is first made using the ASTA registration form on this web site and submitting it with full payment of registration.
- Once ASTA has received full payment for registration, ASTA can issue a letter of invitation to the registrant for purposes of a VISA application. Depending on the requirements of your home country, you may need to request a visa interview with your local government or embassy.
- Payment for ASTA registration can be made by wire transfer. Contact Hiranthie Stanford for wiring information.
- Hotel reservations must be made by each individual using the hotel information web page.
Note: Request your letter of invitation and make your appointment for a visa interview early. Wait times for a visa interview can be several weeks or more in many countries, especially during peak travel periods. With this in mind, you are strongly urged to place your request for a letter of invitation as soon as possible.
