Optional Tour: Private Homes of Scottsdale
Day 2: Tuesday, June 23
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
$25 per person

Local destination experts from Bella Pelazzo bring you this exclusive opportunity to see the inside of some of the most beautiful homes of Scottsdale! This tour brings you to the following homes:

Boulder House

This amazing property actually holds a spot on the National Register of Historic Places. More correctly referred to as “The Empie Petroglyph Site” this is the home that Bill and Sunny Empie built into a cluster of giant rocks around 1980. The boulders on this property are 1.45 billion years old, and have played host to many nomadic Native American tribes throughout the centuries. Each of the traveling bands have left their mark on the rock outcroppings in the way of graphic Petroglyphs.

Adobe de Colores

An exterior of earth colored raw adobe bricks and traditional latillas gives way to an delightfully decorated interior liberally splashed with bold accents of color. Built by the legendary builder/ designer Bill Tull, the home features grand open spaces, and cozy niches. Hiding places for colorful Mexican icons and grand spaces for a stunning art collection are around every curve.

Sculptural Territorial

Sculptural Territorial is the result of what happens when a noted interior designer applies her craft to her own home. Located in the lovely upper Sonoran desert near Pinnacle Peak, this stunning territorial Pueblo style home features a gated entry to a lush courtyard, massive entry doors, and a soothing palette of colors. Inside you will find that each space has been treated as its own little universe. Moving from room to room you will experience the gracious lifestyle of the desert Southwest, and you will begin to take notes on how to re-create your own space. Take special note of all of the nichos (niches) that cleverly hide antiques and collectibles from all over the world.
