What’s New at CSS 2013 & Seed Expo
The CSS is where seed business gets done – and this year, the spotlight will be on global trends in the seed industry. Featuring timely topics and internationally known speakers, CSS 2013 will both challenge and equip you with the information you need to compete in today’s domestic and international markets.
- On opening morning, hear USDA’s Sonny Ramaswamy “Future Global Outlook” and judge the accuracy of economist Dan Basse’s 2012 predictions as he returns to provide an ag market update. Then, learn about doing business in China from Junyi Gai of the Soybean Laboratory at the Nanjing Agricultural University.
- Stay on top of seed science and policy with educational programs on seed treatment stewardship; soybean sessions focusing on mitigating climate extremes and solving the oil quality puzzle; and corn and sorghum sessions focusing on global drivers of genetic diversity, sorghum utilization, and lessons in corn improvement and corn pathology.
- NEW to the program this year is a dedicated session on wheat: hear presentations on hybrid and biotech wheat plus wheat research collaborations.
- Finally, don’t miss our highly rated Business of the Seed Business sessions: the first focusing on the usefulness of apps in the seed industry, and the second exploring GMO perceptions vs. realities.
Seed Expo 2013 is set for another record year with more than 150 exhibitors in a sold-out trade show floor and more Expo Meeting Suites for your company’s business appointment needs. Our Networking Lounge, which will feature a few table top exhibits, provides you a place to relax and sit down with colleagues for more personal one-on-one conversations.
